www.nabo.org.uk - National Association of Boat Owners - Give good representation to all boaters (incl liveaboards). We recently resigned from the BMF and APCO following a 100% subscription increase.  NABO seem to give just as much support (and supply all the information, and more, that we had before) - and all at a mere £15pa subscription.  To specifically help small businesses like ourselves, NABO has recently put together their NABO "No.1's" service to provide small business boat owners with a business information service - keeping us up to date with new activities from BW, MCA etc. Well done NABO!  They also operate a very useful forum on their site where you can read about problems on specific canals (by region), and even post problems you have encountered.

www.rboa.co.uk - National association representing liveaboards (many mainly static).

www.sterling-power.com - Providers of quality 12v charging and inverter equipment.  Ask for a catalogue - a refreshingly common sense company that provide knowledgeable advice. We use their kit almost exclusively.
