The River Avon, far
below,
photographed from the Avon Aqueduct on the Union Canal. This Aqueduct
is the highest in Scotland and second highest in the UK (2nd only to
the Pontcysyllte on the Llangollen Canal). Our Scottish version
allows you to descend, via a well maintained path and steps, to
a delightful riverside walk and country park below.
